Prior to the pandemic, I lived in Newport News, Virginia. Every Super Bowl Sunday, I'd make Italian sausage chili to bring to my friend Dean's house. This year was a party for one, but I felt the need to re-enact it. After cooking it, I ate bowl and froze the rest. But I unfroze it for Singles Empowerment Day and ended up eating the rest throughout the week. And one night some of it wound up on top of a couple of turkey burgers.
